I'm Leo. Running with good people in bad weather is addictive — I learnt that in 2024. I haven't been able to stop since.
THE BEGINNING.
Eight years of more or less irregular training — mostly less. At some point it became clear: that only changes if I find a crew that really drives me.
My first session was interval training in the Englischer Garten. In hindsight, a bold choice for a comeback after such a long break. My lungs had some opinions about that.
First impression? Not because of the intervals — those were brutal. But because I'd finally found a group that voluntarily meets to run hard, sweat excessively, and still grin afterward. Crazy people — just like me. I went home wanting more of it. That hasn't changed since.
LA LISTA.
After every run there's "La Lista" — a group photo of LatinRS. What started as a tradition among the Spanish-speaking members has long since outgrown those boundaries. Today everyone joins in, whether they speak Spanish or not.
La Lista is our ritual. A reminder that we're doing this together — and that good things happen when people show up for each other. And if you miss a session, you're already waiting eagerly for the next photo.
"La Lista — everyone joins in now."
WHY RS.
What keeps bringing me back: the sense of community. From day one everyone is welcome — no matter how fast or experienced. Over time we've built a big Spanish-speaking community that just feels like home.
And of course the coaches. Not just excellent trainers — above all, real people who create exactly the atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back.
ON THE MOVE.
2026 is already full — and far from finished.
