I'm Marc, the crew's bad-weather runner. Somewhere between unproductive and overreaching, and notoriously just barely on time, even for the baton handoff.

THE BEGINNING.

After the third lockdown, my friend Anne (a.k.a. AKA) told me there was this running group that would be exactly my thing.

My first session: a cheerful round of lantern running, a.k.a. Suicide Sprints, on the Theresienwiese. Long story short: she was right. I've been showing up on Mondays, more or less regularly, ever since.

SALLIES.

Burning until the very end, and you can mix it up endlessly. Why not run it at half speed sometimes, or double?

"Weather's holding, a light vest will do." What followed: a full-blown snowstorm.

WHY RS.

The music selection is curated at the highest level, even if the BPM doesn't always match your pulse. And then there's the best merch around.

ON THE ROAD.

Bungee jump off the Europabrücke, title defense with the Latin relay squad in Salzburg, the Watt Run in 2027, and the RB 400 are all on the calendar.

Most recently at the start line: Hamburg Triathlon, Salzburg relay marathon 2026, and Allgäu Triathlon.
